Hyökki, Pasi
Master of Music Pasi Hyökki (b. 1970) is a Finnish choral artist and sopranist.
He has founded and conducted several choirs and vocal ensembles and has sung since childhood in both amateur and professional choirs and in his own vocal ensembles. The Talla Vocal Ensemble he founded and the choirs he leads have won several competitions and he has been recognized with significant choir conducting awards.
Hyökki has also produced numerous choral and vocal ensemble recordings, been the artistic director of choral festivals, conceived the Helsinki-based choral music seasonal concert series, and founded the online choral sheet music service choralworks.fi.
He is currently the Artistic director of the Tapiola Choir, the YL Male Voice Choir, and the EMO Ensemble chamber choir he founded. He regularly organizes international composition competitions with his choirs and actively composes and arranges new choral music for his own instruments.
