Hyökki, Pasi
Master of Arts Pasi Hyökki (b. 1970) is a Finnish choir conductor, sopranist, producer and arranger.
He is Artistic Director of the Tapiola Choir, YL Male Voice Choir and the EMO Ensemble chamber choir he has established. Hyökki has won several choral and ensemble competitions with the Talla Vocal Ensemble, the Cantabile mixed choir and the EMO Ensemble. He was awarded the distinguished Klemetti Prize in Finland 2014.
Pasi Hyökki frequently releases recordings with all of his choirs, working as both conductor and producer. Recordings made by him with the Talla Vocal Ensemble, the EMO Ensemble and the YL Male Voice Choir have been nominated Choral Discs of the Year in Finland.
As a composer Pasi Hyökki is creating new works only to his own ensembles.
