The Finnish Esperantist anthem “Fidela brilas la Polusstelo tranoktaj nubok en la ĉielo” has been composed for the celebrations of the second annual meeting of the Finnish Esperanto Association. Aamulehti wrote on March 7, 1913: “For the celebration, Dr. Hj. (Nino) Runeberg, who is one of the most enthusiastic Esperantists in our country, wrote the beautiful antem ‘Himno de l’Polusstelo’, which our composer Erkki Melartin has promised to compose for a male choir.” The song was performed at the celebration by a male quartet conducted by Väinö Pesola.

Suomen esperantistien hymni ”Fidela brilas la Polusstelo tranoktaj nubok en la ĉielo” on sävelletty Suomen Esperantoliiton toisen vuosikokouksen juhlailtamia varten. Aamulehti kirjoitti 7.3.1913: ”Juhlaa varten on tohtori Hj. [Nino] Runeberg, joka on innokkaimpia esperantisteja meidän maassamme kirjoittanut kauniin hymnin ’Himno de Finnlandaj Esperantistoj”, johon kuulu säveltäjämme Erkki Melartin on lupautunut laatimaan sävelmän mieskuorolle”. Laulun esitti juhlassa Väinö Pesolan johtama mieskvartetti.
