Torralba, Manuel

Manuel Torralba (b. 2001) is a Catalan composer and conductor.

After finishing the Conservatory of Barcelona in 3 years Torralba began studying composition at the “Fundació Liceu” in Barcelona with Xavier Pagés-Corella, Ramón Humet and Benet Casablancas. His creativity and drive led him to participate in important events related to his music. His desire to follow in Bernstein’s footsteps also leads him to begin his conducting studies with Salvador Brotons at the ESMUC (Superior School of Music of Catalonia). He has participated in some masterclasses all around Europe and has conducted most of his own works.
