Haapanen, Saima

Saima Haapanen (b. 1981), Master of Culture and Arts, is a Finnish singer, arranger, composer, lyricist and vocal teacher.

Haapanen has a strong background in choral music. She has arranged and composed music for choirs and ensembles for more than twenty years. Over those years dozens of choirs have ordered, performed and recorded her works.

Saima Haapanen is a singer in Club For Five since 2022. Before that she has worked as a professional singer in an a cappella groups Viisi, Adiemus Singers and Rajaton. In 2020 Saima also released her own solo album Toinen tyttö with her trio.

Haapanen has been a vocal teacher in Avonia Music Institute in 2007-2022. During that time she also had workshops for choirs and ensembles all over Finland.
